Engagements & fees

Ranges on the page, workings on request.

Exact fees follow the diagnostic, because honest pricing needs a scope. The ranges below let you budget-screen us in one read.
Stratagem fee schedule
Engagement Fee
Diagnostic Fortnight £9,500 fixed
Fix phase £40k–£120k typical
Prove phase Part success-linked
Day rate, where it applies From £1,400

Diagnostic Fortnight: Two partner-weeks on site; baseline + findings your board can read. Ends clean if the problem isn’t ops.

Fix phase: Scoped from the diagnostic, priced per project. Two-thirds of engagements land £40k–£75k.

Prove phase: Base fee plus an element against the signed baseline. Workings agreed with your FD before we start.

Day rate, where it applies: Partner-only delivery; the rate is the rate regardless of which partner.

Every figure here is reviewed annually and was last confirmed in April. If a salesperson quotes you something different, this page wins.

Asked by every FD

How does the success-linked element work?
A portion of the Prove-phase fee pays only if the signed baseline metric hits the agreed threshold at the agreed date, measured the way your accounts already measure it. No threshold, no invoice for that portion.
Why no junior team? It would be cheaper.
Cheaper per day, slower per result. Floor credibility with supervisors and setters is most of the job, and it doesn’t delegate.
Can we just buy the diagnostic?
Yes, and about a third of clients do. It’s priced to stand alone and the findings are yours either way.
Do you work outside manufacturing?
No. The method would travel; the floor credibility wouldn’t. We’ll refer you to someone whose floor it is.
